Founded more than 80 years ago, ARNMD is a society of neurologists, psychiatrists and scholars interested in neuroscience and related fields. Members join to keep abreast of developments in neuroscience as they relate to psychiatry and neurology. ARNMD is one of the few organizations that brings together specialists in these increasingly related disciplines.

At the annual conference of the ARNMD, invited speakers-leaders in the field present state-of-the-art clinically relevant research findings in fields of interest to neurologists and psychiatrists.

Who is eligible for membership in ARNMD?

Holders of the MD or PhD should send a completed application form and their curriculum vitae to the ARNMD.  Residents and fellows should send an Associate Membership application signed by the heads of their departments.

• Regular Membership - Psychiatrists and neurologists, physicians in other specialties and researchers in basic and clinical science interested in the goals of the ARNMD. Dues for Regular Members are $150 per year.

• Associate Membership - Residents in neurology and psychiatry, and PhD candidates in the neurosciences. Dues for Associate Membership are $75 per year.

• Senior Membership - Individuals 65 years of age and older who are in active practice or individuals 70 years of age and older who have retired are eligible to apply for Senior Membership status. Dues for Senior Membership are $75 per year.
